The Daily CARE Check-In requires employees who are working on site at most Jackson facilities to complete a short screening for symptoms and/or exposure to COVID-19 from home every day at least two hours prior to reporting to their shifts. The details submitted to the app will determine whether you are safe to go to work. If you forget to check in at home, you must do so immediately upon arriving to your work location. Your manager or leadership team will review if you have a green check mark on your Daily CARE Check-In profile each day to make sure you are cleared to enter your department/unit. Employees at Jackson Memorial Perdue Medical Center, Jackson Memorial Long-Term Care Center, and Corrections Health Services are excluded from this new process, and should continue following the guidelines set for them by their respective regulatory agencies. Staff members who are currently working remotely only have to complete the Daily CARE Check-In if they go into their onsite workspaces.
